For those using 11.0, Dominique Leuenberger, the compiz maintainer, has built the brand new compiz 8.6 for 11.0 and put the rpms in repositories/X11:/Compiz/openSUSE_11.0/ It works great. For those curious, compiz 8.6 for 11.0 works great. Much better on the desktop flip timings than 8.2 from repositories/X11:/XGL. ccsm load time is much improved as well.
