[SLE] Installation problems ( updated ) / installing without a floppy ?
Hi all, I have a laptop which I wish to install SuSE onto I have a few problems.... firstly I should point out the physical constraints... the machine is a libretto 50ct pentium 75 (overclocked to 100) 16megs memory 810meg hd 1 pcmcia slot the floppy drive is external and plugs into the pcmcia port. I have a freecom cdrom drive which plugs into the parallel port or pcmcia port the floppy works when I first boot.... and the SuSE installation starts fine... however when it comes to changing to the modules disk the floppy drive no longer responds...and this leaves me stuck.... I can accept that the floppy may well have a PCMCIA setup that is not supported is there any other way to install SuSE onto this machine...! any help much appreciated...
