I tried to use Yast's 'Change Source of Installation' to change my source of installation to: 'ftp.suse.com/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/yast-source', but my attempt failed: Unable to create installation source from URL 'ftp//ftp.suse.com/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/yast-source'. Details: ERROR(InstSrc:E_no_instsrc_on_media) Try again? What do I need to do to make this work? Thanks, Jerome

Jerome, this may sound a bit strange but I have cured the same problem by hi liting the entry and hitting the backspace key and the delete key. Apparently there was a space or some invisible character in the field. Then re enter your url and try again. Richard -- Old age ain't for Sissies!

First of all you left out "/pub/suse/" between ftp.suse.com and i386, the directory you have there doesn't exist. But even so, the error you get can also be given if the ftp server is overloaded. It's a bad idea to use suse's own server. It's constantly overloaded. It's much better to use one of the mirrors.
