if you can, for example from the icon property menu, give us the name of this app, it could be usefull. I already notice one can have two kind of icons on (any) kde: simple links (clic on a file, paste it as link) or complete .desktop file (right clic, create link to a new app), with completely different behavior, the most obvious being the ability - or not - to change the displayed graphic. thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-support-the-Linux-Documentation-Project/3720... http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-fan-page-of-Claire-Dodin/106485119372062?v... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

"Right click" on this icon > properties shows "Name: 4.0 Filesystem". This is a graphic window which I could post to show you, but I understand that attachments are discouraged here. It's possible that this little utility is from Gnome, because I did some experimenting with Gnome apps at one point some time ago. Probably I ought to find out what it is and introduce it into kde. Or maybe I might be better off with Gnome altogether
