Hi all some days ago I successfully installed the Nvidia driver (not through YOU) on my SuSE 9.1. All went well and it works fine, but ... Every time I have to install a new package, Yast tell me I should also install the XFree86-server-glx package. But if I install it the X server crashes and I have to uninstall it repeating the installation of Nvidia driver. Now to install others packages I should: 1 - Either to install both the chosen package(s) and XFree86-server-glx then uninstall the last one immediately before restart X; 2 or to find the package(s) to install on the 5 CD's of the distro and install it/them using kpackage (or rmp) and manually running SuSEconfig. You'll agree with me that both solutions are quite frustrating. How could i do to prevent Yast to install XFree86-server-glx? Thanks in advance emilio
