I have looked in the /var/lock directory but I cant find anything that indicates that the modem is locked. This is the output on the console when Im doing an 'ls -R': high@highs-compis:/var/lock > ls -R subsys subsys: httpd subsys/httpd: httpd.accept.lock.141 httpd.accept.lock.153 I only have one seriel connector on my computer so I presume it is '/dev/ttyS0'. I have made an link 'modem -> /dev/ttyS0' using YaST.
