Wireless network access
I configured my wireless card with Yast and put in the hexidecimal values for my encyption key, but for some reason even though it configured my card, I can't get any wireless connectivity when running SuSE on my laptop. Yet, I can when I boot back into Windows. Could someone help me out here about how I configure my wireless card under SuSE 10?
What does it say when you type ifconfig? Its possible you are connected but DHCP is not set up. That is what happened to me. -Scott On 9/30/05, Michael Thomsen <mikerthomsen@gmail.com> wrote:

I don't even have ifconfig installed. What package is it in? On 10/3/05, Scott Stickeler <sstickeler@gmail.com> wrote:

Did you run it as root? It won't be in your path if not. On 10/3/05, Michael Thomsen <mikerthomsen@gmail.com> wrote:
