I just opened up netscape 4.8, selected some text. Then opened up Open Office Writer. Once the window was open I middle mouse clicked and the text from Netscape was pasted as I expected. Curiously when I did the same thing w/ netscape 7.01 the text was pasted into Open Office but so was the html formatting code. I do run klipper (kde cut and paste utility) but I believe this middle mouse button functionality is part of Xfree86. (I'm sure someone will let me know if this is wrong) See ya -- dh Don't shop at GoogleGear.com!
