I use SLED SP1 and i am trying to install skype 1.4 beta. I get a dependency error about libqtxxx.so.4. I have qt3 installed and according to the skype site, it requires Qt 4.2.1+. OK, i installed libqt4.2.1 and still get a dependency error. Another requirement for skype is libasound2. This i do not see installed on my system. I do have alsa; isn't libasound alsa. I don't want to mess my sound up after i have just re-installed.
