Does anyone have tips on installing an HP color inkjet printer (mine's a 970Cse)? I'd be happy to get it to print in black and white, and consider color a bonus. I'm running 6.0 and KDE. Hello John I am not a skilled SuSE user, but seeing that you did not get any answer, I can tell you I have a Dj 870 Cxi printer and it works nicely in black and white and color with the Dj 550 C driver. Did you try it ? I'm running SuSE 6.2 I wish you have it on 6.0 or maybe you can try another Dj driver. John - I have this same printer and am using the CDJ 850 print driver. Color printing works fine. Some of the extra features, like duplex printing, don't work however. I have a DJ870Cxi and it's painfully slow. Printing one A4 page via ghostscript takes several minutes. It seems to print one scan line at a time. Do you have this problem? I actually stopped using Linux for desktop apps because the printing performance was so poor. I never could find anyone to help me fix the problem.
