Hi! I often need to send faxes. I'm looking for a software not too complicated to do this in SuSE 8.0. Example, if I have a .doc, .pdf, .txt files to send as faxes I want to send it without a lot of problems. Which software should I install and use to do this. Thanks a lot!
Hi Everyone. Unless you have a week or so spare to configure hylafax, the best way to send a fax under linux is here: http://www.tpc.int/verify.html just cut and paste your message into the text-area, type in the fax number and your'e done. Hope this helps a bit, Steve. On Friday 14 June 2002 01:17, Martin Richard wrote:

If your running KDE3.0> then you have kprinter installed. Install CUPS and you'll have most all you want. Take a look at http://printing.kde.org/ and the FAQ there and you should have some fun in no time. Chris H
Efax is really easy to setup. I downloaded and set it up and sent my first fax in ten minutes from a hotel room once. See: http://www.cce.com/efax/ There are several front ends for it and I think it can be integrated with Kfax. Jethro
