Suse10.1, FreeNX-0.4.4-15 Installing FreeNX on Suse10.1 and I'm getting a error message on the NXclient when trying to connect with server on Suse10.1 : NX> 203 NXSSH running with pid: 2817 NX> 285 Enabling check on switch command NX> 285 Enabling skip of SSH config files NX> 285 Setting the preferred NX options NX> 200 Connected to address: 77.2.31.69 on port: 22 NX> 202 Authenticating user: nx NX> 208 Using auth method: publickey NX> 204 Authentication failed. I'm using nomachine.com's nxclient-2.0.0-100.i386.rpm on a Fedora5 Laptop. I have run on Suse server; /usr/bin/nxserver --adduser /usr/bin/nxserver --passwd and had no problems there , but I guess I'm probably hsaving trouble with the keys and I don't no how to fix that. I have goggled the heck out of NIX, with no help. Sorry, it seems you can't use nxclient ver.2 with the SuSE 10.1 included NX libraries (ver. 1.5). http://www.nomachine.com/tr/view.php?id=TR07D01421 I've had the same problem, and had to use nomachine's free edition of NX server. Of course, I'm not happy with the situation, but I don't have the time to dig into the problem right now. Please, post any reasonable solution. Stoyan P.S. Maybe using knx as a client would do? P.S. Maybe using knx as a client would do? I keep a copy of nxclient-1.5. The EULA allows redistribution, so contact me if you whish to get it.
