I have downloaded kernel 2.4.2 from SuSE ftp sit. I have done : make xconfig - make dep - make clean - make bzImage. No error. I have done : make modules - make modules_install. and at last I have make bzlilo: added linux*, suse and windows. When I reeboot, I get a message telling me that it is starting linux and the kernel, and there it stops, notthing happeds, I have to shut down and reeboot to start over again. When I choose suse at the boot, everything are ok. What have done wrong...!!!! Gunnar

cannot find root-devoce. But...without error-message it is hard to tell.
