[opensuse] qmail_suse_10.1_dyndns _problem_plz help
Hello Friends, i have configured the qmail-toaster on suse_10.1 x86 . i have one network card eth0: with static ip : 210.18.170.X this ip and nameservers are provided by My ISP and i am directly connected to internet . i have registered one dyndns name for the same static ip .(shail.homeunix.com). Now during my qmail configuration i have specified my name server "search domain unixhome.com" (/etc/resolv.conf)..IS it Right ??????? and fqdn as "shail.homeunix.com" as well as in dyndns settings i have also set the MX records : "shail.homeunix.com".. Now i tried to send a mail from shail@shail.homeunix.com via webmail to user@gmail.com and it successfully reached the mail box of gmail . Now the problem is user@gmail.com tried to reply to shail@shail.homeunix.com ..it dosnt give the back error of MAIL failure nor its reaches to the mail box of "shail@shail.homeunix.com" .. I am worried whats the problem is ? even i have all the ports open through the firewall too like pop3 and imap etc. IS there Any settings like DNS i have to do at my local machine also. Pl help me . Check the logs at your machine to find out if your machine rejected it or something. Else, check the logs at gmail - no, wait, you aren't the sysop of gmail, are you? Bad luck, you can't do anything. Wait for 5 days, perhaps you will get something.
IS there Any settings like DNS i have to do at my local machine also.
