I have this great MB (ASUS A7N8X Deluxe) and I am sure I am not using it to any where near its fullest potential. I have an AMD 2500XP running at 1800 for starters... and all sorts of "extra connectors" like for IEEE. How do I use these? Can I use them to connect to a second printer? ===== Stephen W Sarasota, FL "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine ..." Proverbs __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Hi Stephen, The "IEEE" connectors are probably 'FireWire'. SUSE 8.2 and 9.0 support and install support for FireWire out of the box. I don't know of any FireWire printers but I'm not an expert. FireWire is also called '1394' and 'serial SCSI' sometimes. Good Luck ................. PeterB On Sunday 09 November 2003 03:49 pm, Stephen W wrote:

The firewire on this board is not working. Use USB instead. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/r5kJ+FOexA3koIgRAkaQAKCqw49UQiU+bNMxcYwcvpT+t13S5wCfZ67b +cFkZOSZP37AlcFpQk7Szjs= =Rwqp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
