in xterm / konsole what ever type: echo $PATH and you see your path... You can set you path in your home directorys .bashrc file by setting it like this (edit the file to have a row like this....): export PATH=.:/usr/X11R6/lib:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin: just input the values you like to be there like this and they are stored "forever"... separate different paths by : or in xterm / konsole ... $PATH = $PATH:/newItem/to/be/added/ export $PATH BR, P_s
