Hi all, I have SLES9 SP2 running on an adaptec 2400A using the i2o modules. I have downloaded and installed the latest raidutils from http://i2o.shadowconnect.com/download.php but I cannot get them to work. I have also recompiled the kernel to add the first three patches that are listed on the same page. raidutil does not report any controller, but gives the following errors: gandalf:/usr/src/packages/SPECS # raidutil -L physical FailureError: scsi io gandalf:/usr/src/packages/SPECS # raidutil -L all RAIDUTIL Version: 3.31 Date: 8/12/2002 LINUX CLI Configuration Utility Adaptec ENGINE Version: 3.31 Date: 8/12/2002 Adaptec LINUX SCSI Engine uname -a: Linux gandalf 2.6.5-7.191-default #2 Mon Jul 25 14:18:00 CEST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux How can I make the raidutils work or as an alternative is there a way that I can monitor the controller for failed drives (I have tried smatmontools already with no luck)? Thanks in advance, Umberto
