[opensuse] How to reset keyboard for edit?
I've messed up my keyboard settings. Now in CLI mode in KDE the edit functions such as HOME and END aren't working. Somewhere along the line I've reset something and can';t find in kdesetting/inputdevcices or whatever how to set it back. Can any help this 'lost sheep'? -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

OK, found it. Its a setting local to Konsole not to KDE -- A: Yes.

I have experienced unexpected key actions that I am able to correct by dropping/changing to a tty[1-6] and back to gui. I attributed it to my ancient Gateway2000 (AnyKey) keyboard, but ... gud luk -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
