[opensuse] WTF?? -- [Fwd: [openSUSE election] Vote now for '"spokesperson" naming'!]
What is this? I receive the email shown below concerning the openSuSE election. I login with my ID and then receive the following in RED: "The system has decided you lack permissions." What is up with that? If I don't have permissions to vote, why send me the e-mail in the first place. It seem fundamental that whoever did the query to generate the address list would first ascertain whether the people in the address list were capable of voting. Did something go wrong? For the record, I vote for Anders Johansson. At least then we would know that we were getting technically accurate, honest press releases;-) -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [openSUSE election] Vote now for '"spokesperson" naming'! FYI, yes this was a mistake. The email shouldn't have been sent out yesterday, the election wasn't open until today. A second email was sent today.
