[S.u.S.E. Linux] IBM releases Object REXX for Linux
Howdy- Just a note to let people know that IBM has released a free version of their Object REXX programming language for the linux OS. It is included in two formats; one of which is a rpm file which installs without problem in SuSE. REXX is a language written by Mike Colishaw of IBM some years ago and provides a bunch of functionality. If you have used OS/2 Warp 3 or 4 you probably know something of REXX's abilities. I have done some minor stuff in REXX and it provides an interesting and fun environment for networking, internet stuff, etc. REXX is also implemented in NT and other environments as well. There are good books on REXX at amazon as well as pretty good online stuff from IBM. Search at www.ibm.com on linux or rexx for linux. -- --Michael Perry-- mperry@mperry.basin.com -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
