yast shows only installed packages
Hi, While trying to solve a prob of YOU, i added a ftp installation source. Now the default installation source is deleted. (I don't know how) and now yast package manager shows me only the installed packages. I seen in the archives that this is already discussed, but couldn't see a solution. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Yast -> Software -> Change Source of Installation -> Add then pick the one you want and make sure it is listed first and enabled. Scott -- POPFile, the OpenSource EMail Classifier http://popfile.sourceforge.net/ Linux 2.6.8-24.10-default x86_64
Thanks first. Maybe i should give some more info. I select cd there; but it doesn't work. Package manager still shows the installed packages only. I also tried rpm --rebuilddb, no way. Any help will be appreciated. On Sat, 22 Jan 2005 15:51:16 -0800, Scott Leighton <helphand@pacbell.net> wrote:

Hi again, I couldn't solve this problem yet. YaST package manager won't display uninstalled packages. It's really annoying. Maybe i can try to repair SuSE installation to solve this? Any help? On Sun, 23 Jan 2005 09:54:08 +0200, Oğuz Eren <ogzeren@gmail.com> wrote:
