Any rpm for the hpijs HP printer driver for SuSE 7.1?
It seems that there is built-in support for the hpijs HP DeskJet driver in SuSE Linux 7.2. Is it possible to get rpm packages to get this driver working in SuSE Linux 7.1 as well? To get this driver working manually, I have to compile part of it into GhostScript, and I would prefer to try to get rpm packages before having to work this way, and maybe ruin something. Best regards, David List

There's no SuSE 7.1 RPM (or at least there wasn't when I ran 7.1). I did a source code install on 7.1 but it broke the postscript viewer in KDE. Never got round to sorting it out because I moved up to 7.2 soon afterwards. M -- Martin Webster <mwebster@ntlworld.com> Registered Linux User #230322 http://homepage.ntlworld.com/spider-monkey/

I think I'll wait until I recieve my SuSE Linux 7.3 with really trying to get the printer to do its best. Thank you for your answer. Best regards, David List
