Adding mod_perl and mod_ssl to Apache
Greetings! I've compiled and installed Apache 2.0.39 and have it working ok. How do I add mod_perl and mod_ssl to it as DSOs? I've looked at the documentation and they've all got it being built before I compile Apache. When I try to configure mod_ssl it can't find the source for Apache 1.3.xx For other DSO's is there an extension I should be looking for? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Eric

They really need to all be compiled at the same time, unless you are really ingenious. The source code for the various modules often change for each apache version. Look at http://www.apachetoolbox.com/ it will do it automatically for you. If you are doing something with an exotic version of apache, you might need to read the apache-compile-howto http://www.delouw.ch/linux/apache.phtml -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
zentara, No, nothing exotic. It seems as if all the scripts are looking for Apache 1.3.X and they bomb out. On Saturday 13 July 2002 21:30, zentara wrote:
