[SLE] Netscape with multiple .netscape config dirs
Hello all, I would like to have two netscape icons each starting netscape with a different config, or profile. Anyone of you know how to do this? The help files and the nestcape site do not give a clue if this is possible. Hello all,
I would like to have two netscape icons each starting netscape with a different config, or profile. Anyone of you know how to do this?
The help files and the nestcape site do not give a clue if this is possible.
The only method I can think of would be to have the second Netscape run as another user. Regards Ole -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

Hi, Just upgraded the PCs.....were running NT before....now trying to configure SuSE. 1. Can't get the blood 3Com PCI Ether Pro Cards working. Could it be new motherboards ?? Or what else. Anyone for a quick response (next coupld of hours). 2. Is there anything - tool, in SuSE for autodection of cards ?? Good choice...
1. Can't get the blood 3Com PCI Ether Pro Cards working. Could it be new motherboards ?? Or what else. Anyone for a quick response (next coupld of hours).
Well I suppose I'm a bit late, but figured you'd want help anyway. Actually I just have a couple of questions first. First of all, what is the cards number, for example a 3C905b? Have you checked the SuSE compatibility database (http://cdb.suse.de/cdb_english.html) because if it is supported, it may list the driver it uses. However, a quick scan of the cdb shows that many 3Com cards are problematic. This is all assuming that you can't get the drivers loaded, which is the impression I got since you are also asking about autodetection of cards.
2. Is there anything - tool, in SuSE for autodection of cards ??
Not sure, I thought there might be an option to 'load all drivers' just to see if one of them works, but I can't be sure. Hope that helps a little bit, Chris -- __ _ -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Chris Reeves /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ICQ# 22219005 _\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
I seem to recall there being a env var (MOZILLA_HOME?) you can set for this.. check the docs. -John Arjen Runsink said:
