Has anybody read _Inside Linux_? (www.suse.com/Books/LSSC07.html) I am looking for a good book that is apropreate for the computer professional who is seeking an overview of Linux at a reasonably sofisticated level. I would also like to know if there is anything good online regarding Linux theory. I am particularly interested in how X-Windows works. TIA, Steve -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

I haven't read that, but check out "The Linux Kernel" on the Linux Documentation Project site.
