Final 2.4.18 SuSE kernel?

well it does not appear for 2.4.16, at least is not working for me or is it mk+initrd

As far as I can make out, the fbcon_splash with initrd support didn't appear until suse 7.3. In 7.2 (2.4.4) it was hard coded into the kernel in drivers/video/splash.h (patches 51_boot-splash-0.8-2.4.5-pre1 and 51_boot-splash-gfx.diff). At least that's how I read the source. //Anders
