What URL do I enter in the browser to access "/usr/local/httpd/public_html/aaa.html through the apache server ? I installed in loopback mode with IP 127.0.0.1 If I input http ://127.0.0.1 I get a really nervous penguin with swimming glasses on dancing so I can assume the apache server itself is working. thanks by the way I reinstalled my system with yast1 instead of yast2 and things run faster now (yast2 may not have optimized for pentium). can someone post a copy of their apache's httpd.conf file (edited for ip addresses and all confidential data); i'm having confusing results using some files (where other files work fine) in /var/apache/htdocs and /var/apache/cgi-bin? thanks.
