Hi. No Sunday I tried an update on my laptop running 9.2 which failed at the installation stage the update included a kernel .11 I think. I tried again last night with the same results. I'm wondering if I have partial downloads that are stopping the update but need a hit as to where they would be located please. Regards Roger

According to SuSE they should be here - online_update saves the patches in the directory /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt Jonothan

Due to me not selecting remove source after install there was a lot of files in various folders under .../mnt. I tried a single item update with one of th new items form last night which also failed so being an almost fresh install I went for a reinstall. All went well and all the updates applied without problem (left the kernel until after a full restart as instructed). I'm sorry that does not help in pinpointing the cause but it was the easiest way for me to go. Regards Roger
