Of course, M$ still probably wants to install some files locally, eg. .dlls, spellcheck files etc. What actually gets installed on the samba server ? Would it make sense to do a network install, and then copy the full Office directory up to the samba server ? I imagine that M$ installs with the stupid "install when required" method, so when you try to run Word it installs it locally? Hi,
I'll already tried that, I installed the office 2000 run from network and run all from network. But i found out that almost 100 mb are occupied by the office. They want everything (not all / not 100 mb) run from network. what the user do is just click on the program
then it runs . . . wheee . . . .
Thanks for your support i appreciated much . . .
