There is a good possibility that this modem is in fat a Winmodem.. You might want to go to <A HREF="http://www.o2.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html"><A HREF="http://www.o2.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html</A">http://www.o2.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html</A</A>> and find out.. He keeps a pretty current list. A quick look at the list showed that many of the wisecom 56k models are Winmodems. Darin -

You should be able to use OSS on this card. It's based on an ES 1371 (or is it 1370?) chipset, supported by both the kernel and the OSS package under series Pay on the installation disks.
