Recent bug reports, any idea what may be up? Package: kdm Version: KDE 2.2.1 Severity: normal Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Kernel 2.10.4GB Shutdown button on KDE panel, caused black screen on all terminals, ctrl-alt-bksp or ctrl-alt-f1 did not wortk. Pushed reset. Had to perform manual fsck on / and /home Sytem now reports unknon session exit code when trying to shudown using graphical button, from terminal shutdown -h now works fine Futher hardware info PII 350MHZ S3 Trio 3D AGP graphics card, this card was unuseable unver verision 3 of free x. The PC is dual booting and has several windows vfat partions. Suse have arranged that icons for each of the VFAT partions to be present on the desktop, and the drives can be mounted by the user. If the user finshes his sesion without demounting first and selects the reboot windows option, this causes the crash indicated in the bug report. The timing suggests that it occours at or just before the calling of the shutdown script.
