Hi,
Anybody can tell me how I can use my CD-ROM IDE to play CD-AUDIO from Linux. The aplications in SuSE 5.1 only works fine with CD-ROM SCSI. Where I can find an aplications that it work with the other kinds of CD-ROM units ?.
That's not truth, you can try xmcd, a really good tool. It can be configured to be used with ATAPI cd-rom's as well. Take a look at the README file and run configure.sh as root which is under the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xmcd/config directory. Greetings, Jose Eduardo -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
