[opensuse] can someone send me SuSE 10.2's /etc/init.d/boot.local
Ah I did stupid thing. By mistake I have removed /etc/init.d/boot.local. I am afraid this file might be important that the next time I start my computer it won't boot. I don't have other SuSE 10.2 hosts so I just keep the machine on and ask the list to send me a copy. I am using SuSE 10.2 x86 Thank you very much, a fast reply is very much appreciated. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It is always empty till you put in something that you want started on boot. Rest of the services are started from /etc/init.d/rc*/* Cheers -J -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

My /etc/init.d/boot.local is just the default with no customisations... #! /bin/sh # # Copyright (c) 2002 SuSE Linux AG Nuernberg, Germany. You can always grab it again from the ftp.

As shipped, it has only descriptive comments in it and is identical on 10.0 and 10.2: -==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==- #! /bin/sh # # Copyright (c) 2002 SuSE Linux AG Nuernberg, Germany.
