[opensuse] 2013 calendar with wrong hong kong holidays
Dear all, 2013 Hong Kong holidays is wrong e.g. 24 Jan is not a holiday. My env is: System: openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64) KDE: 4.7.2 (4.7.2) "release 5" In Digital Clock Settings->Calendar, Region: Hong Kong SAR(China), Language: Chinese (Hong Kong), Select: Days Off Is it a bug or my settings is wrong? If it is a bug, who should I inform and how? Thanks in advance for any reply. Arthur, It's not an openSUSE issue but KDE. It directly related to KDE.org. You may file a bug on bug.kde.org to help fix it. The authors are Glen Ng, Michael Tsang, John Layt have not updated the library since 2011-02-25. I found no mail or contact address on libkholidays file. Complete path is Root->Usr->Share->kde4->apps->libkholidays->plan2-> There are two files one for English another for Chinese to be updated: Holiday_hk_en-gb Holiday_hk_zh-cn Regards, -- Ricardo Chung | Panama Ambassador openSUSE Projects -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Arthur, I'm one of the maintainers for the KDE holidays data, which as Ricardo has said is where the holidays come from. We currently have an open bug to update the holidays in line with some new legislation, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310013 . Hopefully we'll have this updated for 4.10, but I don't think we'll have another 4.9.x release to fix it there. Thanks!
