[opensuse] Latest Linux Novell Client 2.0
Is anyone using the latest Linux Novell Client 2.0 on openSUSE 11.0? http://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=bldJIQnntfA~ There was an announcement in June or so of one for 10.3, and a statement that a release for 11.0 would happen at some point. Is this the one? The download claims support for: SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP2 (i386 and x86_64) I never can remember the relationship between SUSE Linux release numbers and openSUSE release numbers. Is there a nifty table on opneSUSE somewhere? I am sure there is not really a direct overlap. But I could not think they were totally unrelated. -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Kapellgränd 7 P.O. It is like talking about large city with all constructions finished. Not impossible, but very unlikely. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I just tried installing it on 11.0, and I get problems with the existence/version of libbfd 2.16.91.0.5 and libldap 2.3 So, I guess that answers that. I hope the 11.0 release is out soon. Now that I have my 11.0 machines using the Windows AD, accessing shares as defined through Novell may make my Linux machines more cooperative with the Windows/Novell rest of the company.
