Hi I installed SuSE 9.3 at work but im struggling to get the updates because of our proxy. My username is user@domain.com but in the yast proxy settings you cant input the "@" character so i cant input my username. I's there a file where i can change this or a way to bypass it? Thanx

The proxy user and password is stored in the file /root/.curlrc, you can put in your username without the @ sign, and then edit that file to put it in

We all need that. Problem is not too many girls attend the users groups. We need help recruiting. On Tue, 2005-05-31 at 14:00, Marko wrote:

Hi Marko, one thing I am not really shure about is the username thing. Do you mean you can't use a WinDos AD domain style username or did you try to use a username@proxy.domain.com? I guess you meant the first possibility as there are separate fields for username and password. Well, you might try the variant "domain/username" ( or was it the other way round "username/domain" :-S not really sure.. ) in the proxy-user field. Markus
