Yes, that model has an optional WiFi card. It's an additional purchase though. I found a howto here: http://www.linux-militia.net/howtos/asus/asuswifi.html The howto says it's written with Fedora Core 2 in mind, but I can't see any specific Fedora/RedHat-isms in there. I don't have one of those boards myself, so I haven't done it. I was pondering the purchase of one at some point though.. -- Jason Costomiris <>< E: jcostom {at} gmail {dot} com / W: http://www.jasons.org/ 186,000 miles per second. It's not just a good idea, it's the law.

The Asus site mentions that their Windows software has setup for WAP, that's the mode I'd like to use. Now I've downloaded the driver, must look it over before I buy. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer =====LINUX ONLY USED HERE=====

This motherboard, the one I'm using, has an empty WIFI slot for an Asus WIFI card. This guy says he's found a driver, but doesn't say where http://linux.derkeiler.com/Newsgroups/alt.os.linux/2004-03/0037.html There is nothing on nvidia.com. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Oops!, NVIDIA on the brain. Have been spending too much time getting the 1.0-6111 driver to work on 2.6.9-rc2-mm4 which changed some stuff, however changes worked. JUST CORRECTING MY ERROR, START A NEW TOPIC if anyone is interested in the NVIDIA stuff. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer =====LINUX ONLY USED HERE=====
