-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have a SanDisk Cruzer mini (256mb) USB flash drive . It works fine, I mount /dev/sda1 and it's there. The question is when I unmount it. The access light does not go off. I haven't had any problems yet with removing it after unmount but does anyone know how to get the light to go off first? What happens when you type # sync as root from a shell before you unmount the device? -- JDL Non enim propter gloriam, diuicias aut honores pugnamus set propter libertatem solummodo quam Nemo bonus nisi simul cum vita amittit.

Nothing different, the light stays on. On the win2000 machine at work the light goes off when I click to disconnect. - -- Ottawa, Canada Collector of vintage computers http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAOYDoLPrIaE/xBZARAmq1AJ4i3IkR4Gf2aupTyuXZnA/1FnEALQCg1LF2 Gk8g1hCQAbPs2n96JJEdjj4= =QJ0p -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
