Hi everyone, Does anyone know how to load X modules on the fly? Or how to specify the location of your XF86Config file when starting X? The problem is that I need to load a glx module on a computer which I do not have root access to. The suggested method is to edit the /etc/XF86Config file to include the module, but since I don't have write access to this file, I was thinking I could create my own XF86Config file in my home directory and point the X server to that file upon startup. Does anyone know how to do this? Alternatively, if I can just load the module while the X server is running, I would like to know...
