[S.u.S.E. Linux] Looking for help on getting ppp-up connected
I can't seem to get my ppp connection working. I'm dialing into Flash Net in Albuquerque, NM, USA. I have a seyon script that sends the login, but I don't know what shell file to run to get the PPP connection established. It's a little frustrating. In the seyon terminal window in XFree86, I can see the PPP starting message, and then after about 15 seconds, the connection is broken. I am presuming this happens because I haven't established the PPP network connection to Flash Net. I am brand spanking new to Linux/UNIX. I feel half-decent about getting my installation to the state it is at. I've been able to compile my own kernel, configure XFree86, get my sound card set up via isapnp, and configure my modem properly. However, I feel like I am missing something basic potentially, so if anyone has any questions to probe potential "gotchas", I'll be glad to answer them.
