[opensuse] Upgrade fails
Hi all, In one of my rare spare moments, i thought of upgrading a couple of 11.0 systems towards 11.1 (just before 11.2 hits the road) afaicr, it should have been: - update the system, (boot afterwards, certainly after kernel patch) - remove all 11.0 repositories - include all equivalent 11.1 repositories - do a zypper ref - do a zypper dup (all went fine) - reboot However, it resulted in atleast two unbootable systems (dom-U) Which step did i forgot? hw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

[insert new step here]
- reboot

New step: find / -type f \( -name '*.rpmold' -o -name '*.rpmnew' ) -ls and double-check the contents of any similarly named configuration file. -- Boyd Stephen Smith Jr. ,= ,-_-. =. bss@iguanasuicide.net ((_/)o o(\_)) ICQ: 514984 YM/AIM: DaTwinkDaddy `-'(. .)`-' http://iguanasuicide.net/ \_/
