Hi, I have an epson c64 using suse 10.0. The printer works fine in the standard mode but fails to work if I change the printout mode (quality) to draft (economy). This is a known problem ( see http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=13074742 ). Although the printer works, most of the time is unusable because of the time needed to print a page and the ink spent in each page. I'm trying to fix this by myself but I can't find the gutenprint package (libgimprint 5.0) even in the unstable 10.1 directory in opensuse.org. So my question is: ¿Does anyone know how can I install the new gutenprint package (libgimprint 5.0) in suse? Thanks! -- Flextron - Linux user: 306877 -- GPG keyID: 0xE0EA0B24 --

Try the printers HP emmulation mode. Most epsons since the days of Win311 have supported some form of HP emulation. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/
