No, you're using the open-source nv driver, which has no 3D acceleration whatsoever. You need to use the binary drivers from NVIDIA's site to get acceleration.

I followed the instructions from Nvidia and Suse and installed the drivers. I have now 3D support at about 2000 frames in 5.0 seconds Thanks for the suggestions!!
