I would like to see a graph of the duration I spend on the Internet, the cost and the bytes in and out. Remembering my Excel days and now using OO.o I figured there must be a way to do it. I have been exporting my kppp connection logs to a Calc spreadsheet with great success. However, whilst working on the exported data I notice that many of the fields have measurement units inserted next to the numbers ie H, m,s and even Mb. Whilst this does not normally cause a problem to someone viewing the data, it creates havoc with formulae as it will not let them compute an answer ie answer is 0. Is there a way to change the format of cells so that the measurement units are not shown ie just straight 3.4 as opposed to 3.4 Mb for the Bytes out? In addition to this I need to find a way to convert the duration stated to a decimal number so that I can also get rid of the measurement values. is there a way to do this without creating another column? Suggestions appreciated. P.S. Tnx Carlos for the fsck replies, I'll be trying it later tonight once I've printed the fstab file. -- The Little Helper ======================================================================== Hylton Conacher - Licenced ex-Windows user (apart from Quicken) Registered Linux user # 229959 at http://counter.li.org Currently using SuSE 9.0 Professional with KDE 3.1 ========================================================================
