[opensuse] Secure Wireless Authentication Not Working [WPA2/TKIP/PEAP]
With my new laptop [HP DV7-6B32US] I'm unable to connect to our corporate wireless [PEAP (MS-CHAPv2) /TKIP; 802.1x]. I can connect to our 'public' WPA-PSK as well as my home WPA-PSK wireless. On the RADIUS server used by the WAPs I don't see any activity when I try to authenticate. My previous laptop [DV7-3085DX] connected to the secure network without any issues. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated. I don't see any messages that help to clarify where the problem is occuring. lspci ===== 07:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01) /var/log/messages ================= May 31 08:10:13 linux-nysu kernel: [48114.324498] wlan0: deauthenticating from 00:13:19:31:29:41 by local choice (reason=3) May 31 08:10:13 linux-nysu vmnetBridge: RTM_NEWLINK: name:wlan0 index:3 flags:0x00001003 May 31 08:10:13 linux-nysu vmnet-natd: RTM_NEWLINK: name:wlan0 index:3 flags:0x00001003 May 31 08:10:13 linux-nysu kernel: [48114.340306] cfg80211: Calling CRDA to update world regulatory domain May 31 08:10:13 linux-nysu vmnet-natd: RTM_DELADDR: index:3, addr:10.66.49.108 May 31 08:10:13 linux-nysu avahi-daemon[1128]: Withdrawing address record for 10.66.49.108 on wlan0. Will do.
