According to this page http://www.suse.com/en/private/products/suse_linux/ppc/packages/gtkglarea.ht... the PPC version 1.2.2 of gtkglarea contains libgtkgl.so.5. However, according to this page http://www.suse.de/en/private/products/suse_linux/i386/packages_professional... the i386 version has only got as far as libgtkgl.so.4. The latest update on the SuSE servers (1.2.2-468) still has only libgtkgl.so.4. Does anyone know why the i386 is behind the ppc on this? I'd try building it, but you have to check the source out from cvs.gnome.org, and I don't feel my skills are up to that yet! I'm trying to take Ghemical for a run, and it insists that nothing less than libgtkgl.so.5 will do! Kevin

Try the SuSE 7.3 distro. /usr/lib/libgtkgl.so.5 -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org icq#173753138
