All - Anyone tried any of the Linksys wireless tri-mode gear? Specifically the WPC55AG PCMCIA card (supports 802.11g+b+a) under SuSE 8.x? I'm thinking about setting up a wireless LAN at home, and the tri-mode support is an intriguing idea. It should allow me to run at the highest speed when I'm at home, and still connect to public hotspots when I'm on the road. But I don't know which chipset the WPC55AG card uses, so I'm trying to find out if it will work with either the wlan-ng or orinoco_cs stuff before I buy it (it is more expensive than the WPC11, which does seem to work with SuSE 8.x). Last I knew there was no support for 802.11a under Linux. Has this changed recently? If so, great! -- John LeMay KC2KTH Senior Enterprise Consultant NJMC | http://www.njmc.com | Phone 732-557-4848 Specializing in Microsoft and Unix based solutions
