I have downloaded one of the SuSE10 from ftp:/mirrors.kernel. org/suse/i386/10.0/iso. The filename is SUSE-10.0-DVD-SRC-GM.iso I'm not able to get the DVD to boot from my DVD drive. What could be the reason(s)?.
I guess that SRC in the iso name means that you downloaded the source DVD, ie the one that contains source packages and not binaries. Try to download: SUSE-10.0-EvalDVD-i386-GM.iso Don't be afraid of "Eval". That DVD contains the full SUSE distro and hasn't any trial/eval license problem... For a better explanation, please refer to readme.txt in the same ftp directory. Bye
