[opensuse] X server dies occasionally when USB stick is attached.
Hello, Occasionally, I get X server crashes when I plug in an USB memory stick on my opensuse-11.1. I have attached the backtrace I find in /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and excerpts from /var/log/messages. Any ideas how to track that problem down? Any ideas about this? The X server crashes are really annoying, since they tear down all the open sessions/editors/terminals/whatever :-( -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

No, sorry. Try with another desktop. You could write a bugzilla. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Have you tried more than one USB memory device? What about other USB devices? What happens when you remove your mouse and put it back in? What are the specs of your box? Motherboard? CPU? Memory? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
