Hi, I went to: http://lists.suse.com/archive/ But there seems to be no entry for the OT list. Is there a site that has the OT archived? Also the SUSE-Linux -e list is loaded with SPAM that I have never seen on the email I recv from the list. If SUSE has spam filtering for the list why is the spam showing in the archive. PeterB Hi Pat, thanks for the tip my email has been clobbered -- -- Proud SUSE user since 5.2 Loving SUSE 9.2 My BLOG == http://vancampen.org/blog --

google, include as a search term list:suse-ot

haven't looked at the archives for a while, but do not recall *ever* seeing more than a hand-full of spam. I do not believe that I have seen two or three this year and they should not appear in the archives unless they appeared here first. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos

Hi Peter,

But there seems to be no entry for the OT list. Is there a site that has the OT archived?
sort of here ... just started. http://www.mewes.tv/mbox/ A "Request for Mboxes" resulted in the complete mbox-archive of suse-linux@suse.com 2002 to now. When I finished with some german lists I will do the same for english lists as well. This is targeted for late January 2005. bis dahin/kind regards Martin Mewes -- Hi. I'm thinking about what you've just sent me. Please wait by your PC for my response.

I did Google as one poster suggested and got http://www.netsys.com/suse-linux-e/2004/02/msg01924.html but I can't even get that page. This seems to be the only Google result that indicates it might be the archive.

In have been subscribed to the ot list since the beginning and I never throw away messages because I prefer to do my own local searching. If you want, I can give you my mbox as stored by Mozilla Thunderbird. Damon Register
Hi,
no need to send eMail to the list and me. I am reading the list.

the OT list isn't archived for a reason. When Chris Mahmood set it up he felt it would be a bad idea, because of all the flame wars that took place at regular intervals. People generally want those things to be forgotten. I would agree, so if it were up to me, that list will never be publically archived
